added a couple new user pics.
finaly got one of my wedding ring
:)
no ambition to do what needs to be done today
but no real choice in matters.
Need to shampoo the upholstry on both couches.
damn cat thinks it needs to be 'marked'
so cant even sit on the damn thing cuz of the smell.
I'll clean it all once more, then if there is any more problems,
the cat is going. (ok so i'm not that mean, i'll wait til spring)
but still, i'm sick of it. there is no reason for this.

got ahold of EI, turns out i dont have enough hrs to be eligible again.
a measly 35hrs too short. what crap.
cant get SS because i made 1200 on oct 1st thanks to having no EI for most of september then getting back pay.
and PTA doesn't pay enough for us both to be able to go to school,
pay for gas, and rent and util and still have something left for food.
SO... completely stressed out.
oh oh and rental/employment supp still has my file listed as closed.
so got to wait til monday/tues for that to get updated..hopfuly.

Called back a call center job i had received a call about on monday,
was delaying getting back to them cuz i was waiting to hear from EI,
so with all the bad news figured i'd give it a shot.
I passed the phone interview, now i have one at 930 am in person tmrw in regina. 11.15/h FT to start. if i get this job, i'll have to put off going back to school, or look in to distance learning/correspondance.
Not a big deal, but really hoping i get this damn job cuz if i dont I'M SO SCREWED. . . not to mention not being able to make it to Saskatoon,
which would REALLY make me upset.
tmrw decides everything.

Oi!
What a week.
Been busy with the wedding party, clean up the following day,
and then a very quick trip to MJ the same day to drop off a friend
and pick up a video game.
I'm still waiting for other ppl to upload pics,
and mine are all on regular disposable camera,
so going to have to wait for those to be developed before they can be scanned and posted.
Was a nice turn out, got just over 20 people to the house,
have lots of leftover salads etc...
and yes a bunch of booze as well lol but that wont last much longer.
Getting a Blood Corn snake tonight.
He is only a couple months old (4) and is basically my wedding gift to myself,
used about a quarter the wedding $ gifts towards him.*only 75*
the leftover $ is going towards the rings.
yeah still not paid off but neither of us are in a big rush for that.
today i've basically just killed time around the house,
put away what i can from the party, alot has to be taken back to regina and MJ,
Big shock of the day was my dad coming.
he's been in the hospital for the last couple weeks.
lol he managed to get a day pass, had to give himself a couple needles while he was out here
and be back at the hosp by 7pm...but still really suprized he was able to come.
Unfortunately peter's dad wasnt able to make it, but his mom was out here with adam and tiff, which was good..at least got to introduce parts of the family to eachother.
Wanting to try for xmas out here,,,but we'll see how things
go between now and then work wise.
Still no word from school,
and waiting on $ from work and then needing to get ahold of EI.
Probably going to regina tmrw,
just to get out of the house for a bit,
then doing some running around on wednesday when peter gets some free time.
less than 2 weeks til this house arrest bs is over with.
really just an inconvenience, but w/e.
making lasagna for supper.
smells awesome.

another week basically over with.
Got the marriage license on the 20th.
yesterday my mother took me shopping..
got james a ton of new clothes for school,
and got a new bbq! as the wedding gift from them.
and a few groceries and a bunch of the supplies for the party.
plates, knives, forks, spoons, cups, misc other things like shooter cups for the jello shooters and some of the booze for said shooters..
i still dont really know what else i need.
got most of the stuff on my list, gotta make a new one i guess,
figure out what i'm missing lol. except for one small problem, i just want everything.
I'm doing three types of cookies, plus a snack/salad, jello shooters, burgers, hotdogs, ribs, chips and a few types of dips..
friends n family are bringing cesar salad, cake, nenimo bars (sp), home made buns, veggie platter, meat n cheese platter, and who knows what else.
yep no shortage of food.
need more juice jugs..mabe i'll borrow my moms fruit punch bowl...
probably the weekend prior get some help out here and do a major cleaning,
and the next day start putting up a few decorations and stuff like that...
hope the weather co operates...would be nice to spend time outside rather than in.
probably move everything to the front yard cuz its just nicer and more open than the back
(plus the lack of dog kennel and garden..less stuff for people to accidentaly step in)
need to get people's phone numbers,
in a week or so start getting some definate numbers
so i can plan for seating as well.
this is what i mean about a million directions at once
but i guess the good thing is, the party is all i have to worry about
cuz everything else save for the $50 for the jp is taken care of.
meep.
i'm going to be a basket case until everything is in place.
and even then,,, gotta do set up!
oh ya and trying to get more info from work and when i'm going back,
no word yet from siast, just more delays and always getting different
name of ppl to call about it and its always wrong person.
so thats just a nattering stress ball in the back of my mind.
at least i can sort of do something about the organisation of this party.
ugh. so much cleaning needs to be done.
Might try to talk peter in to painting the sunroom while he's on his 3 days off this week.
seeing as thats where i'll be putting the "bar" and food tables.
*yawn* even with a good sleep i still feel exhausted.
Got to go out friday night,
bar hopped a little, well not really, just between 2.
had a good night, was really good to get out of the house for a night,
even if i didn't have the $ to really get in to things, it was muchly appreciated and needed.
and best of all, no side effects next day lol lack of $ does that lol.
off to try to get things together here.
doesn't work too well, one step forward is two back,
but thats just a side effect of feeling so drained.
things just keep getting put off more and more.
but at least with my mind all focused on this party the bs and stuff still going on doesn't really get much time to bother me. stupid bimbos trying to cause trouble just get ignored.

Today was really tiring.
I got out of bed really late because my alarm clock has broken and I cannot afford a new one at the moment.
I'm so happy. I just found out that I have been accepted into Harvard. And Yale. I don't know which to choose... oh, why is life so hard sometimes?
Last night I had to go and pay Joshua's bail. He's such a jerk. He got arrested for punching the Walmart clerk in the face for refusing to sell him beer. He's only 16!
I am updating this journal for the first time in ages, because I've been in prison.
Today, I got a digital camera! Yes! Here's ten thousand photographs of my cat.
I want to say thanks to the world for absolutely fucking nothing! You all suck. I feel so alone, no one ever reads this journal, or even comments to let me know that I'm not suffering alone. It's cold here, and I want to die, but I cannot figure out how many of you to take with me when I go.
I went to the doctor yesterday, and he said I have bipolar disorder, which makes me different enough to be interesting, but the same as all the other cool people with bipolar disorder.
You should all do this quiz! It's amazingly accurate. You just put in your name and birthday, and it will tell you you're a moron.

I had to share this, it just made me laugh.
made my day a little better, so hope it does the same for one of you.
The following was found posted very low on a refrigerator door.
Dear Dogs and Cats: The dishes with the paw prints are yours and
contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food.
Placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a
claim for it becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that
aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.
The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Racing
me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn't help because I
fall faster than you can run.
I cannot buy anything bigger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry
about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to
ensure your comfort, however. Dogs and cats can actually curl up in a
ball when they sleep. It Is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to
each other, stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know
that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out on the
other end to maximize space is nothing but sarcasm.
For the last time, there is no secret exit from the bathroom! If, by
some miracle, I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is
not necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob or get your paw
under the edge in an attempt to open the door. I must exit through the
same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years -
canine/feline attendance is not required.
The proper order for kissing is: Kiss me first, then go smell the other
dog or cat's butt. I cannot stress this enough.
Finally, in fairness, dear pets, I have posted the following message on
the front door:
TO ALL NON-PET OWNERS WHO VISIT AND LIKE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT OUR PETS:
(1) They live here.. You don't.
(2) If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the
furniture. That's why they call it 'fur'-niture.
(3) I like my pets a lot better than I like most people.
(4) To you, they are animals. To me, they are adopted sons/daughters
who are short, hairy, walk on all fours and don't speak clearly.
Remember, dogs and cats are better than kids because they:
(1) eat less,
(2) don't ask for money all the time,
(3) are easier to train,
(4) normally come when called,
(5) never ask to drive the car,
(6) don't hang out with drug-using people;
(7) don't smoke or drink,
(8) don't want to wear your clothes,
(9) don't have to buy the latest fashions,
(10) don't need a gazillion dollars for college and
(11) if they get pregnant, you can sell their children ...

2. Pretentiousness—Empty posturing can be most irritating and isn’t applying the cardinal rules of Lesser Magic. On equal footing with stupidity for what keeps the money in circulation these days. Everyone’s made to feel like a big shot, whether they can come up with the goods or not.
3. Solipsism—Can be very dangerous for Satanists. Projecting your reactions, responses and sensibilities onto someone who is probably far less attuned than you are. It is the mistake of expecting people to give you the same consideration, courtesy and respect that you naturally give them. They won’t. Instead, Satanists must strive to apply the dictum of “Do unto others as they do unto you.” It’s work for most of us and requires constant vigilance lest you slip into a comfortable illusion of everyone being like you. As has been said, certain utopias would be ideal in a nation of philosophers, but unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately, from a Machiavellian standpoint) we are far from that point.
4. Self-deceit—It’s in the “Nine Satanic Statements” but deserves to be repeated here. Another cardinal sin. We must not pay homage to any of the sacred cows presented to us, including the roles we are expected to play ourselves. The only time self-deceit should be entered into is when it’s fun, and with awareness. But then, it’s not self-deceit!
5. Herd Conformity—That’s obvious from a Satanic stance. It’s all right to conform to a person’s wishes, if it ultimately benefits you. But only fools follow along with the herd, letting an impersonal entity dictate to you. The key is to choose a master wisely instead of being enslaved by the whims of the many.
6. Lack of Perspective—Again, this one can lead to a lot of pain for a Satanist. You must never lose sight of who and what you are, and what a threat you can be, by your very existence. We are making history right now, every day. Always keep the wider historical and social picture in mind. That is an important key to both Lesser and Greater Magic. See the patterns and fit things together as you want the pieces to fall into place. Do not be swayed by herd constraints—know that you are working on another level entirely from the rest of the world.
7. Forgetfulness of Past Orthodoxies—Be aware that this is one of the keys to brainwashing people into accepting something new and different, when in reality it’s something that was once widely accepted but is now presented in a new package. We are expected to rave about the genius of the creator and forget the original. This makes for a disposable society.
8. Counterproductive Pride—That first word is important. Pride is great up to the point you begin to throw out the baby with the bathwater. The rule of Satanism is: if it works for you, great. When it stops working for you, when you’ve painted yourself into a corner and the only way out is to say, I’m sorry, I made a mistake, I wish we could compromise somehow, then do it.
9. Lack of Aesthetics—This is the physical application of the Balance Factor. Aesthetics is important in Lesser Magic and should be cultivated. It is obvious that no one can collect any money off classical standards of beauty and form most of the time so they are discouraged in a consumer society, but an eye for beauty, for balance, is an essential Satanic tool and must be applied for greatest magical effectiveness. It’s not what’s supposed to be pleasing—it’s what is. Aesthetics is a personal thing, reflective of one’s own nature, but there are universally pleasing and harmonious configurations that should not be denied.

I'm kinda at a standstill with voting.
I'd vote liberal, but i absolutaly hate dion.
the same goes with ndp, they have a half decent stance, but i have an issue with jack layton, i've met him in person and i detest him.
can't vote conservative, cuz well,....the name of the party says it all, they stand for moving backwards rather than forwards.
that basically leaves me with BQ and Green,
sad to say, green party is probably getting my vote if i actualy do vote that is.
